ARCHITECTUAL DRAFTSMAN

Employment Source is looking for an ARCHITECTUAL DRAFTING SPECIALIST to work Full-Time in Billings, MT.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

·        Analyze conceptual drawings by architects and produce technical drawings for various types of building projects

·        Use computer aided design to complete buildable and permittable drawings

·        Interact with the design team, consultants, and architects daily to complete projects

·        Prepare final drawings under the direction of architects from rough sketches, mark-ups, and verbal communications

·        Complete technical details using drawings, rough sketches, code requirements, manufacturer data, etc...

·        Resolve discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information and working with the design team

·        Implement and follow-up on all client requests

·        Assist the project manager with overall project responsibilities and contribute to the team effort by accomplishing all related tasks as required

REQUIREMENTS:

·        Associates Degree in a related field, or working towards a degree in a related field, AND/OR 3 years of experience in architecture or a similar industry

·        Must be knowledgeable of AutoCAD and REVIT systems

·        Familiarity with Bluebeam, Adobe Acrobat, and InDesign is highly preferred

PAY RATE: $22-26/hr DOE
