Employment Source is looking for a DATA CENTER TECHNICIAN to work (Full Time) in Billings.
Data Center Technician will work under supervision and with guidance from the Data Center Manager
Data Center Technician will participate in the development, operations and optimization of all data center facilities that provide high-quality, cost-effective services to customers.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
· Travel involved 25-49% of the time
· On call required 50-74% of the time
· Install data center equipment and cabling. The cabling consists of fiber, copper, power, serial, etc.
· Install and maintain data servers and network equipment.
· Duties include monitoring the day-to-day performance of servers.
· Maintaining an optimally controlled environment for servers.
· Troubleshooting network and server problems.
EXPERIENCE:
· Must have good knowledge about switches, routers, monitors, and various other specialized equipment.
· Must have troubleshooting skills.
· Should be able to conduct tests to identify and fix faults.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· MS Office, PowerPoint, Word, Excel
· Ability to work independently and within a team.
· Think analytically and be a problem solver.
· Communicate effectively, both in writing and in speaking, with customers, co-workers, and various business contacts in a courteous and professional manner.
· Be organized; work completely and accurately under time constraints and deadlines.
· Provide excellent customer service.
· Work in a safe and effective manner.
BENEFITS: Waiting period will apply
PAY RATE: $23 per hour
SCHEDULE: Full Time
(Monday-Friday) 8-5pm
