Job Description
• Conduct troubleshooting of vehicle
• Confirm diagnosis and plan of action with Shop Supervisor, Service Manager, and/or Warranty Writer
• Work closely with the Parts Dept. to ensure all necessary parts and items are available to complete repairs
• Communicate with service coordinator to provide accurate ETAs to customers
• Complete repairs thoroughly with a high attention to detail
• Inform customers of additional repairs or preventative maintenance opportunities found during the vehicle servicing
• Always maintain a clean and orderly work area
• All other duties, as assigned, by Shop Supervisor, Service Manager, and/or Warranty Writer
Requirements
• Valid driver’s license - Required
• 2 or more years of professional mechanic/technician focused work experience - Required
• Familiarity with RV systems (electrical, plumbing, propane, engine/chassis, etc.) - Highly Preferred
• Forklift certification - Preferred (must obtain within 60 days, employer will train right candidate)
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with conflict-resolution methods
• Ability to multitask efficiently
• Must be a reliable and self-motivated individual, able to work independently within a team environment.
