GROUNDSMAN WITH RIGGING EXPERIENCE

Employment Source is looking for a Groundsman with Rigging experience to work (Full Time) in Billings.

Groundsman with Rigging experience / $23 per hour

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of rigging trees, using porter wrap, and lowering limbs.

Responsibilities

• Using headset to communicate with crew in trees and on the ground.

• Conduct some tree care activities such as tree trimming and pruning to promote healthy growth and safety and removing when needed.

• Be able to pull and back up a trailer

• Operate skid steer, woodchipper, and other similar equipment efficiently and safely.

• Assist in dragging limbs and other ground tasks as needed.

• Ensure all grounds maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and best practices.

• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition through regular inspections and repairs.

• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in rigging is required.

• Knowledge of tree care practices, including safe trimming techniques is preferred.

• Experience operating bucket trucks or similar equipment is preferred.

• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality work.

• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions while performing physical tasks.

• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

This job is physically demanding and requires someone to be comfortable working outdoors in all elements.

We are a small crew - we work closely together, and every member of the team is valuable.

BENEFITS: Waiting period will apply

PTO after 1 year of employment.

Our schedule tends to be Tues-Friday. Some Mondays we will work, but we will give notice. 

PAY RATE: $23 per hour

SCHEDULE: 8-5
